Lies of P – Arm Harpoon

A steampunk-style arm-mounted harpoon, based on the Lies of P video game. A lot of cosplay and roleplay possibilities with this fantastically ornate little gadget.
Development
This… weapon? Device? Construct? …was requested by a client who wished to emulate a steampunk-style wrist-mounted harpoon from the game Lies of P. They provided a couple of reference pictures, and off I went!
Design Improvements
Creating this incredibly unique model involved a meticulous process to capture the intricate aesthetics of the original design. This piece combines functionality with a visually striking appearance, featuring various ornate details characteristic of the steampunk design.
The only major redesign during the prototype creation was the addition of some extra decorative effects on the silver arm-cuff. This late change was suggested by the client and, although subtle, significantly enhanced the overall look of the harpoon. The added detailing contributes to the authenticity and completeness of the steampunk aesthetic. Consequently, some product photos do not include this detailing due to its late incorporation, but it undeniably completes the ‘look.’
