League of Legends – Jayce’s Survivor Hammer

I have to admit, I had never really gotten into the League of Legends game, or any of the other mobas out there. But when the TV series of Arcane was released, I was a huge fan of that, and so being asked to try and replicate the HUGE signature weapon for Jayce was a real pleasure. 

And the thing really was huge. The major development hurdle to overcome was creating something that could actually be produced and assembled, and that ended up being sturdy enough to survive travel to and from conventions. While also not being hideously difficult to carry everywhere you go while in costume!

We also had to overcome the usual limitations of shipping, and so it had to be designed in such a way that the client could do final assembly themselves without the overall quality and look of the piece suffering in any way. 

Overall, this project was a huge success. I think it  looks fantastic, and the client was extremely pleased, as you can see from their Instagram images -
